McCall's Nicolle Cody
& her 2007 colt, Lorien Virtuoso
Nicolle is a rare gem of a mare. An own granddaughter
of Silver Mane's Frisco Cody, she is one of very few left.
She carries 2 more ties to Frisco Cody on her dam's side,
making her 37.5% blood. She carries many ties to the great
Colonol Cody, and is nearly a granddaughter by blood (21%).
Being Cody has been dead over half a century, we are quite
pleased with this! She also carries the blood of the great
Curtiss Frisco Pete, Ramble Ridge Rocket, & Ruoff's Protestor.
Nicolle was successfully shown locally by her breeder as a
yearling and 2 year old, then retired to breeding.
She has given us 3 quality colts in a row, SilverWind Frisco
Cody's Jet Kid (watch for him in the driving ring in 2008
from what we have heard), SilverWind Realization Cody
who sold as a 4H pony, and Lorien Virtuoso, who is available for
purchase. He is a true bay roan, though he had not shed his foal
coat out to it yet in these early pictures. Newer pictures
will be coming soon. Nicolle is bred back to Virtuoso's sire,
Dandy, for a 2008 foal. We are hoping for a filly this time!
Yes, he loves children! I expect he will mature 44".
